Is Kenyan Coast Boy-Band (Yakwetu Band) Here To Replace Tanzanian Hit Makers Yamoto Band?

As far as the music industry in East Africa is concerned, Tanzanian Boy-Band (Yamoto-Band) was doing great and was the inspiration for another up coming music bands across the region. The band consisting of four brilliant artists from Tanzania alias Bongo land including Maromboso, Beka, Dogo Aslay and Enock Bella is now flopping. Something which has angered most of its fans across East Africa and beyond Air-waves. Aslay has been releasing his own solo projects in a row including Angelikuona, Muhudumu and the most recent one is Baby which are already doing great but for sure most people are missing the Yamoto Band quadrant aspects hit-makers. Their hits as a Band including Nitakupelekweta, Basi, Cheza Kwa Madoido and many other souls re-laxer soothing melodies which are going to remain in the hearts of their die hard fans for long.

But it has been many wishes that allegedly Swahili oriented Boy-Band the likes of Yamoto Band could rise and replace the breaking super talented Boy-Band Yamoto. On that debate, Mombasa based Boy-Band Yakwetu has already emerged for fame to set the pace already set by Yamoto. Yakwetu Band which is comprised of three super talented young energetic music artists (Matalanta Wa Yakwetu, Planet Yakwetu and Supreme Yakwetu, has been in the music industry for quite long time now but due to the high competition inside the industry they have been seen like underground. Until recently, the group has been amazing many music lovers across the coastal air-waves with the help of their producer and hit maker super talented AMZ of Tempoz records.
